Edu Passion 2020: DARYASKARA

In this high school period, especially for 12th grade students, it is very important for students to already know what majors and universities will be chosen to continue their education. But often there are still many students who are still confused in choosing the majors and universities they want. They are often still too busy wrestling with tasks and tests from school, so they do not have time to think about the continuation of their education.

Therefore, an event called Edu Passion was held. Edu Passion is an annual event that's held by OSIS SMAN 3 Bandung. This event is an activity where various universities at our state and abroad send ambassadors to come to school and open a stand to distribute brochures about how their university is, where it is located, what facilities are owned, what majors they have and so on. This makes students have a picture of college they will enroll.

In choosing the majors and universities to be followed, many factors must be considered. First is the interest of students in certain majors. A student should choose a course that will be followed based on their desires or preferences, not because of coercion from others or just following friends, so he can follow the lessons in the college seriously and can finish his studies well. In selecting majors, it should also be adjusted to the talents of students, so that it is easier to attend lecture later. The choice of student majors must also be accompanied by parental consent, because without the support of parents it is almost impossible for a student to complete his studies well.

Purpose

- Students can get insight about the university and its majors

- Students can choose their majors appropriately

- Students especially in 12 grade become more determined in deciding universities and majors, so that they will not regret the decision later

Time and Place

This event was held on Thursday, 23 January 2020 at SMAN 3 and 5 Bandung's yard and corridor.

 For 12 grade, they can follow from 07.30 until completion;

 For 11 grade, they can follow after the first break; and

 For 10 grade, I and my friends can take part in this event after the second break. Which means that before I can attend this event, I have to study to take physics and religion test first. The physics test is so harddd. L

   

Faculty Presentations Schedule

Edu Passion 2020: "DARYASKARA”, had a main event showing off about education participated by various universities. In this educational exhibition, visitors could visit the existing university stands. There, they could ask questions and find information about the university and the faculties. If the information wasn't enough, visitors could attend presentations from existing universities in the class. This event also equipped with a talk show entitled "International Competition in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0".

Some extracurriculars also enlivened this event. Among these, KPA 3, LSS, and KV 3. For those who felt hungry and or thirsty, don’t worry because this event also has food stands. The payment system didn't use rupiah, but used coupons. So, visitors must exchange their money for coupons provided by the committee. While exchanging our money, we had to be careful. Because, if the coupon remains, the coupon couldn't be cashed back in. So make sure the vouchers that you exchanged match the food you will buy.
